h20 - Our Starting Point for Ultimate Health
The problem these days is that chemicals creating toxic environments in our own inner eco systems, as well as our surrounding environments, have managed to creep in and become 'normal' components. With average health levels plummeting, it feels necessary to keep digging and uncovering hidden truths about what we're consuming and why. Water, for us is the vital starting point for every human to look into, the purity level of your household water should be your primary concern - after air, it is the most important human asset, we can live days, weeks, even months without food, but without water forget it.
Discussing fluoride is always such a hot topic that I cannot understand, there's no conspiracy theory here to be cautious of, there's just a misconception that needs explaining, not even uncovering, as you can simply type into google any question about synthetic fluoride (the type that is added to Australia's drinking water) and there will be sources lined up to help explain that the health risks associated with synthetic fluoride, which is a by-product from the fertiliser industry, are way higher than the benefits that naturally-occuring fluoride (not the type of fluoride added to our tap water, it is present in ground and surface water). Synthetic fluoride and naturally accruing fluoride have conveniently been merged into 'fluoride', which of course is confusing to the general public, so when making up your mind about if it's worth your time, and I hope with all my heart that it is, to avoid fluoride, please differentiate the two in order to weigh up health risks and claimed benefits.
Naturally occurring fluoride is known as: 1. calcium fluoride - naturally occurring in water, fruit, vegetables
Synthetic fluoride types are:
1. fluorosilicic acid - waste product from the phosphate fertiliser industry
2. sodium fluorosilicate - waste product from the phosphate fertiliser industry
3. sodium fluoride - waste product from the aluminium industry
Another key thing to understand about tap water is that chlorine is also added, which kills both pathogens (bad bacteria that cause illness), and sadly good bacteria (flora), which we need in order to maintain a healthy immune and digestive system. Beneficial ways to get good bacteria into your system is through fermented foods which contain probiotics (meaning pro-life!), sauerkraut, coconut kefir, kimchi, & kombucha are our top picks for these, however by drinking chlorinated water you won't have a suitable enough inner eco system for these friendly guys to survive in. Weighing up the long term health risks and benefits when it comes to both chlorine, and fluoride in your everyday drinking water is of utmost importance. Spend five minutes or half a day, to understand what is actually in the liquid you drink every day – hopefully you'll discover, as we have, that what you have been drinking in order to survive, should actually be reversed to a purer form, the way Nature originally presented it, which boosts your energy levels, calms a bloated stomach, and leaves you looking forward to your next glass!
