Toothpaste - Fluoride Free

Upon discovering the harmful effects of commercial toothpaste, it did not take very long at all for Sarah and I to start making our own homemade toothpaste. Those searching for a healthier and cheaper option which does not carry a ‘Do not swallow’ warning label, here’s the recipe:

2 tbsp. Bi-carb soda (Aluminium free)

One pinch of salt (Celtic or Himalayan)

One pinch of Stevia (Natural sweetener)

14 drops of Améo Peppermint essential oil.

Grind everything together with a pestle and mortar and store in a jar. This will normally last me around 3 months.

Peppermint oil has been studied by various groups of individuals throughout history due to its beneficial effects. It is extensively used aromatically, topically and internally to relieve stress, freshen breath, and aid in digestive health.
