COFFEE ENEMA - how to prepare one
Coffee enemas are said to
WHAT YOU NEED
1 L purified or spring water (don't use tap water, the last thing you want is chlorine, more heavy metals, andespecially something like synthetic fluoride going into your system)
1 - 2 tbsp organic coffee (Sacred Grounds and Byron Bay Coffee Company are what we use)
1/2 tsp coconut oil
an enema kit (bucket or bag, we prefer the buckets are they appear easier to clean, but each to their own)
Add the water and coffee to the sauncepan and bring to the boil, once it has boiled turned downt he heat and simmer for approximately 12 minutes. Remove from the heat and allow to cool to a luke warm temperature (you do not want it too hot as it will burn, yet too cold can be uncomfortable). Strain the coffee into a jug or large jar.
Lay a towel down on your bathroom floor, set up the enema kit so it sits high enough for gravity to work its magic. Pour the coffee into the enema bucket/bag, put some coconut oil on the tip of the enema tube, lie down, BREATHE, and allow the coffee to flow at a comfortable pace into your bottom. It's a good time to meditate or at least focus on releasing all that is no longer serving you for your highest good. Gargling noise from your stomach area will indicate bile being released from the gall bladder and the liver being stimulated. Aim to hold onto the coffee for 15 minutes, then go to the toilet to release it. If you need to go earlier than the 15 minute goal, listen to your body.
It is important to hydrate with good quality water after a coffee enema, and replenish with organic vegetable juices, fresh organic fruit, and/or soups, plus Celtic sea salt (for those trace minerals!). Your body will need to be replenished with extra minerals and good quality water, don't underestimate the amount of work it has just undergone.
