SMOOTHIES- Berry Nice

INGREDIENTS

1 handful blackberries (I have used frozen organic)

1 handful blueberries (I have used frozen organic)

1/2 an avocado

1 tbsp pre-soaked almonds (soaked overnight)

1 tbsp acai powder

1 tbsp LSA (linseed, sunflower seed + almond mix)

1 tsp spirulina powder

1 tsp pure vanilla powder

1 cm fresh turmeric knob finely grated (optional)

1 handful of ice

Topped with filtered water (start with 250ml and add more until you reach your desired smoothie consistency)

PREPARATION

Soak almonds in a jar of purified water overnight (8 hours).

METHOD

Empty the water from the soaking almonds and rinse. Blend all ingredients until a smooth, even texture is formed. Garnish with a few thawed out or fresh blueberries and a sprinkle of LSA.
